Rick answered: Good question for today, as the Rockies swept the Mets today in New York.

The Rockies have been in existence for 18 seasons and surely have swept additional double headers in that time.

I was able to locate two additional sweeps, September 19, 2007 against the Dodgers and May 16, 2010 against the Washington Nationals.

It is not an easy thing to accomplish in baseball, winning two games in the same day. I have not located where, if at all, records like that are kept. The Rockies team and individual records do not show those stats.

When I was in college, due to rainouts in a tournament, we had to play, and win, 3 games in one day. I can say from experience, it was special to be a part of it. There was a different atmosphere about it.
