hit by batted ball

Anonymous asked: R1, R2, double steal.

F5 is playing in for a bunt, but the batter swings away and hits a chopper that bounces over F5’s head and hits R2 standing on 3rd base.

F6 had no play on the ball.

Since the batted ball had passed an infielder, and the ss had no play on the ball, the runner on third base is not out for being hit with the batted ball.
